Kibera Children Education (KCE) Masomo ni mambo yote! (Learning is everything!) KCE runs two projects; Tumaini Watoto and an educational center. Would you like to support our work?

Tumaini Watoto is a sponsorship programme, which started in 2004, where children are supported with school related expenditures. At present 34 children are being sponsored through Tumaini Watoto. The educational center was opened in 2009 where the kids can come to read books and do their studies. At the center, the children have opportunity to learn in alternative ways, for example by playing game

s, draw, computer classes, and etcetera. They are also provided with help to do their homework and to borrow text books since many parents/guardians cannot afford to buy books. The educational center is most often called the Library among our members, and it is open and free of charge for all children and youth in the community five days a week.
