Our Story
AHCP`S PROGRAMS: 1. Library & Tutoring Program
This project has been started in order to help the kids who attend informal schools in the slum who do not have enough money to buy textbooks and other school supplies. We provide them with books and other stationery, and we organize daily tuitions. These kids who often cannot find enough peace, space or light at home can do their homework in our classrooms with fellow pupils. 2. Women's Empowerment Program
These kind of projects include a wide range of trainings and workshops for women from the Kibera slum. We provide information regarding entrepreneurship, HIV/AIDS, and provide them with vocational training in different fields.
Our most recent project is the ‘Women Power Project’ where young mothers who suffer from long-term unemployment are being trained in baking and confectionary making in addition to entrepreneurship and social media marketing.
