It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that we inform you of the sudden passing of our fellow member and friend, Fredrick Mugo.

Mugo faithfully served KUKISA as the Organising Secretary for the 2025/2026 term and previously as the Kikuyu Representative in the 2024/2025 Executive. Beyond his leadership and dedication to the group, he was a valued friend, colleague, and brother to many among us.

His sudden demise is a great loss not only to KUKISA but also to everyone whose lives he touched through his service, kindness, and commitment.

As a family, we mourn together and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Further communication regarding burial arrangements and any planned support from the group will be shared in due course.

May his soul rest in eternal peace🕊️🕊️.

OVER THE WEEKEND, HEARTS UNITED FOR A CAUSE ❤️

The Kiambu University and College Students Association (KUCSA) delegation, led by our President Peterson and Projects Coordinator Lewis, alongside other dedicated delegates, proudly partnered with the Tharaka Kenyatta University Students Association for a meaningful visit to Tharaka Tunyai Children’s Home.

It was more than just a visit—it was a moment of sharing love, restoring hope, and standing in solidarity with the beautiful souls at Tunyai. Smiles were exchanged, stories were shared, and for a moment, we became one family bound by compassion and humanity.

This partnership reflects our deep commitment as KUCSA to collaborate with like-minded organizations, creating spaces to learn, uplift, and share opportunities that truly impact lives.

Together, we are building a culture of service, empathy, and unity—because giving is not about having much, it’s about caring enough to show up.

Depression is becoming common.
Pressure is becoming unbearable.

On Friday, we, the Kiambu University and College Students Association (KUCSA), had the privilege of conducting a mentorship program at Muchatha Primary School in Kiambaa. It was a powerful and inspiring engagement that reminded us of the importance of investing in the next generation.

Education is not just about books and classrooms—it is about shaping minds, nurturing dreams, and unlocking potential. Through mentorship, we go beyond academics to instill confidence, purpose, and vision in young learners who are the future of our community.

This initiative reflects the strength of community collaboration. When students, institutions, and local communities come together, we create a meaningful impact that extends far beyond a single day. We build bridges of hope, inspire ambition, and empower young minds to believe in themselves.

As KUCSA, we remain committed to continuing this journey—reaching out, mentoring, and uplifting. The future is bright, and together, we will keep shaping it, one student at a time.

I warmly invite you all to join us for our weekly webinar happening tomorrow, a powerful and timely conversation centered on the topic: “Role of the Youth in Climate Action.”

As young people, we are not just the leaders of tomorrow—we are the change-makers of today. Climate change is no longer a distant issue; it is affecting our communities, our livelihoods, and our future. This webinar is an opportunity for us to come together, learn, and explore how we can actively be part of the solution.

We are honored to host two inspiring speakers. Enock Kitheka, an eco-engineer in the making, will share insights on innovation and the role of young minds in driving sustainable solutions. We will also hear from Rev. Evarlyne Wangu, an environmental champion and eco-theologian, who will bring a unique perspective on environmental stewardship and responsibility.

The session will be held tomorrow, 25th March 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and will be hosted by Lisa Muiruri, with Lewis Sing’a as the co-host.

This is more than just a webinar—it is a platform to be inspired, to engage, and to discover how each one of us can contribute to protecting our environment. Whether you are a student, a young professional, or simply passionate about making a difference, this session is for you.

Let us show up, learn, and take action together. Invite a friend, share the message, and be part of a movement that is shaping a better, greener future.

We look forward to having you join us.
