2 Kings 19:14-16, 19
[14] Hezekiah received the letter from the messengers and read it. Then he went up to the temple of the Lord and spread it out before the Lord.

[15] And Hezekiah prayed to the Lord: “Lord, the God of Israel, enthroned between the cherubim, you alone are God over all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth.

[16] Give ear, Lord, and hear; open your eyes, Lord, and see; listen to the words Sennacherib has sent to ridicule the living God.

[19] Now, Lord our God, deliver us from his hand, so that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone, Lord, are God.”

DESTINY HELPERS
Today, we will be praying that God will send destiny helpers to us. Who are destiny helpers?

Destiny helpers are people that are strategically positioned to help you arrive at your expected end.

Destiny helpers are people that fight your battles as if the battles are theirs.

They are people that use their own networks to open up opportunities for you.

Destiny helpers are people that carry burden for others.

Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are the greatest destiny helpers.

Without Jesus Christ, we would not have been reconciled to God the Father. Without the Holy Spirit, many of us would not have believed God and we would not have been able to fulfill our ministries.

The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins. Also, without the help of the Holy Spirit, the spread of the gospel would have been limited.

The Holy Spirit helps us to grow spiritually by teaching us all things that Jesus commanded us. He brings the Word of God to our remembrance.

The Holy Spirit has been responsible for the exponential increase in the Church.

THERE ARE FOUR TYPES OF DESTINY HELPERS
1 DIVINE CONNECTORS
Divine connectors don’t have the power in themselves to help you but can connect you to people who can.

The chief butler was a destiny helper. He connected Joseph to king Pharaoh. That connection took Joseph from the prison into the palace.

The maid servant of Naaman was a divine connector. She connected Naaman to Elisha.

Naaman eventually got his healing and he was free from leprosy through that connection.

Men of Access
These are men of influence and they are like gatekeepers. Jesus Christ is the greatest man of access.

Through Him, we have access to God the Father. He reconciled us back to God.
Ephesians 2:18
[18] For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.

GOD IS THE MASTER BUILDER OF YOUR LIFE

a) God Formed You with a Purpose
Before you were born, He had already designed your destiny

Jeremiah 1:5
[5] “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

b) You Are the Work of His Hands
God is the Potter, and you are His clay, being moulded for greatness Isaiah 64:8

c) He Has a Glorious Plan for You
His thoughts towards you are of peace and a future filled with hope Jeremiah 29:11

d) God’s Construction Process Requires Patience
Sometimes, He allows trials to shape your character and faith James 1:2-4

e)Nehemiah rebuilt the broken walls of Jerusalem, showing that God restores what is broken Nehemiah 6:15-16
