Alego Community Development Project Out of this simple goal grew the ACDP, the name changed to accommodate the expanded mission of larger community development projects.

The Alego Community Development Project (ACDP) was founded by Henry and Grace Ouma in 1986 as the Alego Development Fund just initially to fundraise for the expansion of the elementary school in Alego, Henry’s home town. ACDP uses local and international community-based fundraising to invest in sustainable community projects involving access to education, improvement of educational facilities, health awareness, and access to health services in Alego.
