CAMPAIGN UPDATE — ONE PAIR FOR EACH BOY

To a young boy at Kamiti Juvenile Prison or Embrace Street Boys Centre, a pair of Crocs is more than footwear. It is dignity. It is something new, not a hand-me-down , something that is entirely, personally his. For boys who have gone through life not having much, that matters more than we can say.

200 boys. One pair of Crocs each. One day — *16 May.*

We've raised KES 75,000 of our KES 160,000 target. That's 93 pairs confirmed. 107 boys are still waiting at the Kamiti Juvenile Prison and Embrace Street Boys Center.

Thank you, genuinely, for every contribution made so far. You've already put shoes on 93 boys who may never have expected anyone to think of them.

But we're not over the line yet.

There is an old Italian saying, made famous by Mario Puzo, that a boy's life is so hard that he needs a godfather, a second man to help him navigate the world.

We believe that.

And on 16 May, the International Day of the Boy Child, Yazua Afrika is going to do something small, deliberate, and deeply human. We are walking into Kamiti Juvenile Centre and Embrace Street Boys Centre with one thing: a pair of Crocs for every boy.

200 boys. One pair each. One day.

A single pair costs KES 800 ($6). Our target is 200 pairs — KES 160,000 ($1,300) in total. Every contribution, at any level, directly puts a pair of Crocs in a boy's hands on 16 May.
