Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming visitors from ICT and AReAL , and to our learning centre. Their visit provided an opportunity to connect, share experiences, learn from one another, and explore ways of strengthening opportunities for young people in our community.

With the shrinking of international aid and increasing needs within our communities, we choose to act with the resources we have. We believe that limited resources should not stop us from creating opportunities for young people.

Today, we are renovating our ICT Hall to create a more conducive, organized, and welcoming environment where learners can develop practical digital skills, access online learning opportunities, conduct research, and prepare for future education and employment.

For us, this is more than renovating a room. It is about making sure our learners have a space that supports meaningful learning and gives them the opportunity to build their digital future.

We Need Your Support

To complete and make the ICT Hall fully functional, we are currently looking for support in two specific areas:

🪑 6 strong and durable tables
We need six tables that can comfortably accommodate learners during computer training, practical sessions, group work, and other ICT activities.

🌐 A reliable internet connection
We need a stable internet connection that can support regular online learning, research, digital training, access to educational platforms, and other ICT activities.

We welcome partners who can support us by donating the six tables, sponsoring their purchase, providing or sponsoring internet connectivity, or supporting both needs.

🤝 We are inviting organizations, companies, development partners, institutions, and individuals to partner with us.

Your support will directly contribute to creating a functional ICT learning space where young people can gain practical skills, access information, and prepare for opportunities in the digital economy.

If your organization can provide tables, sponsor internet connectivity, or support the renovation in any way, we would love to hear from you.📩 [email protected]

💚 Today marks one of those moments that is both beautiful and difficult for us at Teach For Community.

It is a moment to pause, look back, and say thank you to someone who has been an important part of our journey. Today, we celebrate Global Programmes Manager at Amala Education, as she prepares to begin a new chapter of her journey elsewhere.

has been more than just a coordinator to us. She has been a friend, a supporter, a motivator, and someone who believed in our work and encouraged us to keep moving forward. Her presence, guidance, ideas, and willingness to support us have made a meaningful difference in our journey.

Throughout your time with us, you have shared your energy, kindness, and valuable guidance. Every conversation, every idea, every encouragement, and every moment you gave to Teach for Community has contributed to the journey we are building together.

As she begins a new chapter and continues her journey elsewhere, we are filled with mixed emotions. While we are sad to see her move on, we are also grateful that our paths crossed and that we had the opportunity to work, learn, and grow together.

, thank you for believing in us. Thank you for your kindness, your encouragement, your time, and every contribution you made to Teach For Community. Your impact will remain with us, and your support will always be remembered.

We wish you nothing but success, happiness, growth, and greater opportunities in your next chapter. Wherever your journey takes you, we hope you continue to inspire others and create positive change.

Happy follow-versary to my awesome followers. Thanks for all of your support! Lottimbo Daniel

We were pleased to welcome a representatives to the our center for a meaningful visit focused on strengthening our collaboration and exploring opportunities to deepen our shared impact.

The visit provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, showcase our ongoing work, and discuss how stronger collaboration can help expand our programs and reach more beneficiaries within the community.

we believe that meaningful impact is strengthened through partnerships. We are grateful to the organizations and partners contributing to education, digital inclusion, youth empowerment, skills development, and community transformation.

We look forward to building on this collaboration and working together to ensure our programs reach more learners, more young people, and more communities.

Our interns have been doing an incredible job. Their energy, patience, creativity, and willingness to support one another are making a real difference. They are not simply teaching ICT skills; they are helping learners build confidence and discover what is possible with technology.

Having around four ICT facilitators in a single learning space is more than just having extra hands in the room. It means our learners have more support, more opportunities to ask questions, and more chances to learn by doing.

When one learner gets stuck, there is someone ready to guide them. When another needs extra practice, there is a facilitator ready to walk with them. This creates a learning environment where learners can move at their own pace while still feeling supported.

For us, this is what community learning looks like — people coming together, sharing knowledge, and making sure no learner is left behind.

🚀 "A journey of a mile begins with a single step.” But for our learners, it begins with a week.

One week of learning becomes two. Two becomes three. And now, our changemaker learners have reached Week Five of the Social Entrepreneurship and Economy for Positive Change courses, in partnership with Amala Education.

This journey is not about simply completing weeks or attending classes. It is about turning knowledge into action.

Our learners are bringing their ideas to life—identifying community challenges, and finding innovative ways to create opportunities for themselves and others.

The energy and determination we see in this cohort remind us that meaningful change does not happen overnight. It starts with one step, one idea, one week—and grows through consistency and action.

As Week Five continues, the ideas are becoming clearer, the confidence is growing, and our changemakers are getting closer to turning their learning into lasting impact.

We are grateful to Amala Education for supporting this journey and investing in the potential of young people.

Today the journey has started. The steps are adding up. And the impact is coming.

Technology is transforming the way we teach—and today, we are taking an important step toward making learning more accessible and engaging for children.💻

Through our partnership with the The Avy Project, we has officially activated The Avy Project platform, equipping our tutors with technology that makes teaching more effective and helps children understand and engage with lessons more easily.

This partnership demonstrates the power of investing in grassroots organizations and equipping them with the right tools to create meaningful impact at the community level.

Together, we are empowering educators, strengthening early learning, and creating better opportunities for children to thrive.
