A MAN MUST CRY Mental Health Movement A Mental Health Movement for Men’s Emotional Well-being and Mental Health Support in Africa

16/05/2026

A lot of men are struggling quietly.
Not because they want to, but because they were taught to keep everything in.

To “man up.”
To stay strong.
To handle things alone.

Pamoja Men’s Tribe is creating a safe space for men to talk, connect, heal, and grow through honest conversations and community.

Opening up does not make you weak.
It makes you stronger.

Join us every Wednesday from 27th May at Ufungamano House, State House Road, Nairobi, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month.
But for us at A MAN MUST CRY, these are conversations we choose to normalize every single day because mental health challenges don’t take a day off.

This month, we will be hosting our Monthly Healing Walk in Kakamega, taking these conversations to the grassroots where they are needed most, within our communities and among our people.

We believe healing begins where safe spaces exist, where men are allowed to feel, speak, and be heard without judgment.

As we prepare for this impactful community engagement, we are open to and in-kind to make this initiative even more meaningful and far-reaching.
We welcome collaboration in areas such as:

1.Mental health expertise & facilitation
2.Community mobilization
3.Branding & awareness materials
4.Refreshments & logistics support
5.Safe space facilitation and storytelling

If you or your organization align with this mission, we would be honoured to work together .

Drop us a text on our email to partner or support this cause : [email protected]

Let’s walk together. Let’s heal together. Let’s normalize the conversation.

We recently hosted a powerful and thought-provoking webinar titled “Safe Spaces: Who Do We Trust With Our Pain?”

The conversation brought together an incredible panel of speakers from Kenya and across the globe, who shared deep insights on vulnerability, trust, systems, and the importance of creating safe spaces where people can speak about their pain without fear of judgment.

It was a meaningful dialogue that reminded us that healing often begins when someone finally feels safe enough to be heard.

My sincere appreciation goes to our amazing speakers who generously shared their experiences, wisdom, and professional perspectives with our audience. Your voices helped shape a powerful conversation that continues to push the narrative that mental health matters and safe spaces save lives.

Thank you as well to everyone who joined the session, engaged with the discussion, and continues to stand with us in advancing conversations around emotional well-being and mental health awareness.

Together, we continue building communities where no one has to carry their pain alone.

We are deeply grateful and proud to share that we successfully hosted our first webinar under titled: LOVE WITHOUT PRESSURE: Why Men Deserve Softness Too.

The session attracted #30+ participants, all coming with open hearts and a willingness to learn, unlearn, and grow. It was more than a webinar - it was a safe space where men were reminded that vulnerability is not weakness, and that emotional safety is a right, not a privilege.

A special appreciation to our amazing and resourceful speakers for delivering such empowering insights, honest conversations, and practical tools that left the audience encouraged and strengthened.

This is only the beginning.
We are building a movement where men can speak, heal, and be held without shame.

To every participant who showed up: thank you for choosing growth.

To every supporter: thank you for believing in this mission.

Let’s keep the conversation going.
