Our team from the was glad to join Kakamega County Water and Sanitation Company at their Consumer Summit, bringing together partners and community stakeholders to advance conversations on sustainable and climate-resilient water services.

We were honored to engage with the Chief Guest, Fred Kihara, from ’s Africa Water Funds Program, a valued partner we have closely worked with through the River Yala–Nyando Conservation Water Fund. His leadership and insights reinforced the importance of collaborative, nature-based solutions in safeguarding water resources for communities and children alike.

The summit reaffirmed our shared commitment to linking climate action, water security, and child well-being, and to strengthening partnerships that protect our rivers and secure a resilient future.

Our team had the privilege of hosting Kenya’s rugby internationals and at riverside offices for an energizing conversation on the power of athletes as ambassadors for sustainable climate action.

From the pitch to the planet, sports men and women are using their influence to champion greener choices, drive awareness, and inspire communities to protect our environment. Their passion and leadership remind us that climate action is a team effort and every voice matters.

A huge thank you to the players for sharing their insights and commitment. Together, we can push for a healthier, more sustainable future.
