Joy & Community

Sunshine, smiles and service!

The Rotaract Club of Bungoma proudly joined fellow Rotaractors at the Western Region Sunshine Rally 2026 to spend a meaningful day with differently-abled children — sharing meals, laughter and gifts.

Moments like these remind us that inclusion and love make the world brighter.

As Arch Klumph said:

“We should not live for ourselves alone, but for the joy of helping others.”

And Helen Keller said:

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

Impact & Service

We showed up, stepped in and entered in style for the Sunshine Rally 2026!

The Rotaract Club of Bungoma came ready to share smiles, meals, gifts and unforgettable moments with differently-abled children. Today reminded us that service is not just what we do — it is who we are.

As Paul Harris said:

“Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achieves.”

And Maya Angelou reminds us:

“People will never forget how you made them feel.”

Disability is not inability. 💙

Entering in style, serving with heart!

The Rotaract Club of Bungoma showed up in full spirit at the Western Region Sunshine Rally 2026 held at Golf Hotel Kakamega — not just to attend, but to make a difference.

We entered in style with one purpose: to celebrate, share love and spend a joyful day with differently-abled children. Together we are laughing, sharing a meal and gifting them small tokens of love. Moments like these remind us that disability is not inability, every child carries incredible potential and deserves dignity, joy and opportunity.

As Paul Harris once said:

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

And in the words of Helen Keller:

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”

Today is more than a rally, it is a celebration of humanity, inclusion and service above self. 💙💗

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” — Mahatma Gandhi.

The launch of the Craig Memorial Health Centre was a celebration of compassion in action. Amid colour, laughter and purposeful conversations, lives were being transformed. This was service, done with heart and honour.

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” — Helen Keller.

What unfolded was a beautiful testimony of what unity across borders can achieve. From Rotarians to Rotaractors, partners and county leadership, every handshake carried meaning. The glamour of the event matched the depth of its impact.

“Service above Self is not just a motto; it is a lived commitment.” — Rotary International.

On monday we witnessed service wrapped in excellence as Rotary Districts 5630 and 9212 came together to celebrate the successful launch of the Craig Memorial Health Centre. With distinguished leaders present, including the Governor of Kakamega County, the moment was both historic and inspiring. Purpose, partnership and pride filled the air.
