Emayian Integrated Development Organization is a Non-governmental Organization working with the poor and vulnerable pastoralist of Kajiado County in Kenya.

Emayian Organization in partnership with Actionaid Kenya trained Lodokilani community on agro-ecology to diversify from pastoralism and address food security, nutrition and increase household incomes. It's great to see pastoralist women and youth work hard to prepare their land and after rains, they smile at the fruits of their labor. Touching lives in small meaningful ways!

Emayian in Partnership with Action Aid Kenya carried out Civic Empowerment training in Iloodokilani and Magadi Wards, Kajiado county, aimed at equipping community members with necessary civic knowledge that would help them to actively participate in any form of decision-making process not only in their county but in their country at large.

Governance- Emayian Organization in partnership with ActionAid Kenya carrying out civic education sensitization meetings on devolved system of governance, devolved fundings available and opportunities within the national government across Lodokilani ward to help the community benefit from positions of leadership and available sources of funding targeting women, youth and people with disability. Making positive changes within vulnerable communities!

Women Economic Empowerment- Emayian organization in partnership with Maji Masafi trained 30 groups on table banking and soap making in Oltepesi, Elangata Wuas, Singiraine, Kilonito, Karero (Lodokilani ward), Oldonyio onyokie in Magadi ward; and supported them with start- up kitties for village table banking and soap making to boost household income among women. The income generated through table banking and soap making initiatives will support children education, food security, hygiene and sanitation at the household level. Green School Program- Emayian Organization in partnership with ActionAid supported 10 Junior Farmers Field Schools within Lodokilani ward with farm tools kitty and training to start small kitchen gardens to enhance pupil's nutrition and food security.
