Animal slaughter is one of the greatest injustices and cruelties inflicted upon animals. Shedding innocent blood for human greed is purely evil. These creatures suffer immensely at the hands of humans, primarily for monetary gain. This barbaric act is unfathomable.Yesterday, I couldn't help but sympathize with the young animals being bundled into lorries for slaughter and export, mostly to the United Arab Emirates. This is not right, and something must be done to stop the commercialization of animal lives. There are better, more humane ways to make a living.I urge all of us to come to the rescue of these animals. Let's buy them off and evacuate them to safety at the Eramatare Enkopang sanctuary. Are you with me on this?

PROPOSAL FOR VACCINATION PROGRAM AGAINST LUMPY SKIN DISEASE

OBJECTIVE:
To protect and safeguard the health of 77 cows and calves by implementing a vaccination program against Lumpy Skin Disease. due to its outbreak

BACKGROUND:
Lumpy Skin Disease (L*D) is a viral disease affecting cattle, causing significant losses due to poor health and movement restrictions in affected areas. Vaccination has proven to be an effective measure in controlling and preventing the spread of L*D.

PROPOSED PLAN:
1. Vaccine Selection: We propose to use a reliable and effective vaccine approved for the prevention of Lumpy Skin Disease in cattle.

2. Vaccination Schedule: The vaccination program will be carried out in two phases:
- First Round: Initial vaccination for all 77 livestock.
- Second Round: Booster vaccination to ensure long-term immunity.

3. Logistics and Administration: Qualified veterinary professionals will administer the vaccines following proper protocols and guidelines.

4. Monitoring and Evaluation: Regular monitoring of vaccinated livestock will be conducted to assess vaccine efficacy and identify any adverse reactions.

COST ESTIMATION:
1. Vaccine Cost: cost of $5 per dose, with each livestock requiring two doses:
- Total vaccine cost = 77 livestock * 2 doses/livestock * $5/dose

2. Administrative and Logistics Costs: Including personnel, transportation, and equipment:
- Estimated administrative and logistics cost = $67

3. Total Cost:
- Total cost = Vaccine cost + Administrative and logistics costs
= $837
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:
Community involvement and awareness campaigns will be conducted to ensure understanding, cooperation, and acceptance of the vaccination program.

CONCLUSION:
Implementing a vaccination program against Lumpy Skin Disease for 77 livestock is crucial to prevent outbreaks, protect animal health, and maintain the economic viability of the farming community. Through this proactive approach, we aim to minimize the impact of L*D and

My routine morning chore feeding my animals. Maiize jam for cows and Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) forage for shoats. Nothing gives me joy than love and care for animals, feeding them and being with them. Most important giving them a secure home and safe haven away from human cruelty.

To support us in this cause of feeding these precious animals kindly donate through
