As Kenya continues to witness painful cases of missing children, International Missing Children’s Day is a reminder that child protection is everyone’s responsibility.

Too many children are disappearing quietly from homes, schools, streets, online spaces, and workplaces. Behind every missing child is a family searching, grieving, and hoping for answers.

As communities, we must pay attention to warning signs:
• Sudden disappearance from school or home
• Children frequently moving with unfamiliar adults
• Signs of abuse, fear, neglect, or isolation
• Online grooming and exploitation
• Children being hidden from community spaces

If a child goes missing or is at risk:
✔ Report immediately to the nearest police station
✔ Contact child protection offices and local leaders
✔ Share verified information responsibly
✔ Speak up when something feels wrong

Protecting children starts with vigilance, early reporting, safe communities, and collective action.

Let us become communities that notice, respond, report, and protect. Every child deserves to be safe, seen, and found.

Happy Mother’s Day
Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and unconditional love of every mother especially the young mothers in our women shelter who continue to rise above life’s challenges with courage and hope.
At Mother’s Day is a reminder that every mother deserves safety, dignity, support, and a chance to rebuild her future. Many of the young mothers in our shelter are survivors of Sexual and Gender Based Violence and Human Trafficking, courageously rebuilding their lives while raising their children with love and strength.
But they cannot do it alone.
Your donation,no matter how small,it can provide a safe bed, a meal, baby essentials, dignity, education support, and hope for a mother trying to give her child a better future.

Support our young mothers via

Together, we can remind them that they are never alone.
Happy Mother’s Day to all queens rewriting their stories with strength, courage, and love.

Today, on Labour Day, we celebrate more than just work — we celebrate dignity, opportunity, and the power of knowledge. ✊🏽

The past weeks have been a powerful reminder that employability is not just about getting a job — it is about understanding your worth, your rights, and your potential.

Through our Employability and Entrepreneurship Trainings, young women and youth have gained practical skills to navigate the world of work, build their own ventures, and confidently step into spaces that once felt out of reach.

A key highlight has been our sessions on Labour Laws — where participants learned:
• Their rights as employees and employers
• The importance of fair wages, safe working environments, and contracts
• How to protect themselves from exploitation and advocate for dignity at work

Because empowerment is not complete without awareness.

We are proud to see young people not only dreaming of opportunities, but now equipped to create them, demand fairness, and lead with confidence.

This Labour Day, we stand for a future where every young person — especially survivors — has access to decent work, safe environments, and the freedom to thrive.

Happy Labour Day 🌍

A special gratitude to for calming our storms. In the midst of our transition, rebuilding Rebirth of a Queen and the chaos, Wanja Mwaura offered an office space for Rebirth of a Queen team until we resume to our offices.

This means programs for survivors and the young people we serve is not stopped , this means we can go through chaos but a community shows up to build our resillience! This is an affirmation that;

We never walk alone!

Thank you Wanja Mwaura Foundation

You are truly the brothers keeper
