Today, we join the world in celebrating World Environment Day in Kimana, by reaffirming our commitment to environmental conservation and climate action.
As climate change continues to affect communities, women and girls often bear the greatest burden through water scarcity, food insecurity, displacement, and increased vulnerability to harmful practices. Protecting our environment is therefore not only about safeguarding nature but also about promoting gender equality, dignity, and sustainable livelihoods.
Through tree planting, climate education, community awareness, and youth engagement, Naret Intoiye CBO is working with communities to build a greener, healthier, and more resilient future for all.
🌳 Every tree planted is a step towards restoring our environment.
🌿 Every young person empowered is a champion for climate action.
🌍 Every community engaged is part of the solution.
Together, let us protect our planet and create a sustainable future for generations to come.
