Assalaamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Jumu’ah (Friday) prayers at KJICC.

“O you who believe! When the call is proclaimed for the prayer on Friday, hasten earnestly to the remembrance of Allah and leave off business. That is better for you, if you only knew.”

(Surah Al-Jumu’ah 62:9)

🌙 On the blessed first ten days of Dhul Hijjah, Allah سبحانه وتعالى says:

“By the dawn; and by the ten nights.”
(Surah Al-Fajr 89:1-2)

These are among the most blessed days in the sight of Allah. Let us increase in prayers, dhikr, charity, and good deeds.

Let us come early, listen attentively to the khutbah, and make the most of this blessed day.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Imam Abdulkarim was a true role model in the community. He devoted himself sincerely to serving the religion, always responding promptly whenever he was called upon to serve at Kabarnet Mosque. He consistently took the lead in delivering khutbahs and leading prayers with great humility, wisdom, and a genuine spirit of dedication.

He was known for his good character, gentleness, and humility. He never considered himself above others; instead, he served everyone with a pure heart and sincere love for the sake of Allah. His presence in the mosque was a blessing, and his contributions will never be forgotten.

We pray that Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him a peaceful resting place, and admits him into Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah grant patience and strength to his family, relatives, and the entire Muslim community during this difficult time.
On behalf of the KMA Committee and KJICC, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and to the entire Muslim Ummah. May Allah have mercy on him and reward him abundantly for all the good he has done.

The community is hereby informed that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will be visiting KJICC to conduct a voter registration exercise.
