Reason why kabarnet referring hospital and kabartonjo sub county hospital is becoming dead is that,

1.doctors / nurses employed has their own private hospitals
2.99% of doctors and nurses have chemist where they direct patients to buy medicine
3. Doctors and nurses doesn't treat patient in order for them to migrate to their private hospitals
4.some doctors take advantage of hospital medicine to private hospitals thus lack of medicine in the facility

Ways to improve this hospital

1.transfer of all doctors and nurses working in this facility
2.all doctors and nurses running a private hospitals or chemist should be investigated where their source of medicine comes from
3.all doctors and nurses running a private hospitals and chemist shoul resign from public works.

This his why health centers and dispensary luck's medicine just because of corruptions by big fish in this facilities

A man from Zike Village, Ilngarua Location, in Baringo County, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after being found guilty of defiling a 12-year-old child.

The judgment was delivered at the Kabarnet Law Courts (Marigat Mobile Court) by Senior Principal Magistrate Hon. P. Koskey, following a successful prosecution led by Counsel Collins Ogutu from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).

The accused, who was a local shopkeeper, neighbour and farmer, repeatedly defiled the minor at his shop and maize farm on diverse dates—acts that left the victim traumatized and afraid to report.

The prosecution presented four witnesses, including the minor, as well as medical examination reports and other critical evidence that corroborated the allegations and established the elements of defilement.

After reviewing the evidence, the court found that the prosecution had successfully demonstrated that the accused was responsible for the heinous offence.

This conviction underscores the ODPP’s unwavering commitment to protecting vulnerable members of society and ensuring justice for victims of sexual and gender-based violence.

*DPP Secures Life Sentences for Two Baringo Men in a Defilement Case*

Two men from Kalabata Village in Baringo North Sub-County, Baringo County, have been sentenced to life imprisonment after being found guilty of defiling a 7-year-old girl.

The judgment was delivered at the Kabarnet Law Courts by Senior Principal Magistrate Hon. P. Koskey, following a successful prosecution by Counsel Mr. Collins Ogutu from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).

The convicted individuals, who were neighbors of the victim and worked as casual laborers at her grandmother’s home, committed the offenses on multiple occasions in February 2025.

The abuse left the girl with severe physical injuries and long-term psychological trauma, making her frightened of returning to her grandmother’s residence.

The prosecution presented five witnesses, including the minor, as well as medical reports and other crucial evidence to back up the charges and confirm the offense of defilement.

After reviewing the case, the court ruled that the prosecution had presented compelling evidence proving the guilt of the accused beyond a reasonable doubt.

This conviction reflects the ODPP’s continuous commitment to protecting vulnerable members of society and providing justice for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.
