URGENT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG GIRLS IN NYANZA.
Empowering Girls in STEM Through Artificial Intelligence and Software Development
In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at advancing girls' participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), the Kenya Universities and Colleges Innovation Association (KUJIA) in partnership with Bright Green Youth Organization is sponsoring 42 girls from the 42 constituencies across the Nyanza region to study Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software Development at Kenyatta University.
This initiative seeks to bridge the gender gap in technology by equipping young women with cutting-edge digital skills that are increasingly shaping the future of work and innovation. Through specialized training in AI and software development, the beneficiaries will gain the knowledge, confidence, and practical competencies needed to thrive in the digital economy.
The program reflects a shared commitment to empowering girls, promoting digital inclusion, and nurturing the next generation of female innovators, software developers, and technology leaders in Kenya. By investing in girls' education and technological capacity, the partnership is helping create a future where young women actively contribute to technological advancement, entrepreneurship, and national development.
