Appreciation post

Hello beautiful people ๐Ÿ’ž

Last Month; 27th June 2026, ELL-Womxn, in collaboration with Flexxhub044, hosted a beautiful and historic Pride Celebration โ€” the very first Pride Month celebration in Migori County. ๐ŸŒˆโœจ

What started as a dream turned into a magical reality, exceeding all our expectations.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported this cause. Although we did not have funding for this particular event, our community showed up in incredible ways. The attendees who purchased tickets made this celebration possible, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

A special thank you goes to the Friends of ELL-Womxn, who generously went deep into their pockets to support this event. Because of your kindness, we had a beautiful banner, pretty photo booth and a delicious cake that added so much joy to the celebration. Your support did not go unnoticed, and we sincerely appreciate each one of you.

The night was truly magical. We danced, played games, interacted, made new friends, showcased our talents on the runway, and most importantly, celebrated love, identity, and community together.

From 8:00 PM on 27th June through to 7:00 AM on 28th June, the energy, love, and togetherness in the room spoke volumes about the success of this event.

As we celebrate this milestone, we acknowledge that we are still learning and growing. We remain committed to improving and creating even better experiences for our beautiful community in the future.

Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and walking this journey with us.

Happy Pride Month! ๐ŸŒˆโค๏ธ

With love from

โš ๏ธ Trigger warning: Discussion of sexual violence

We are genuinely disturbed by this.

When elected or nominated leaders speak as though r**e is an acceptable alternative to murder, they send a dangerous message. R**e is violence. It is a crime. It is never a joke, never a solution, and never something to be minimized.
We deserve leaders who stand against gender-based violence, not those who normalize it.
