DIFFERENT ROOTS. ONE HUMANITY.*
Being Pokomo, Orma, Wardei, Munyoyaya, or Mijikenda is not the problem. Ethnicity is our beauty, our culture, our identity.
The problem is when politicians use our ethnicity to divide us. When hate speech online turns our differences into weapons. When competition for land and resources makes us forget we are brothers and sisters.
Ethnic differences do NOT automatically cause conflict. Bad leadership, injustice, and hate DO.
In Tana River, we can be different and still live together. We have done it before. We can do it again.
*WHAT DO YOU THINK? What turns ethnic differences into conflict?*
Let's talk in the comments. Your idea can build peace.
Let's Talk. Let's Listen. Let's Build Peace Together.
