2026 KINGSLEY CUP TOURNAMENT St.Andrews School, Turi, Kenya

Yesterday, our U13 Boys put on a fantastic show, finishing as Runners-Up after a narrow loss in the finals to Nakuru Rugby.

Special congratulations to Vumbi’s Brighton, who was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament!

We are proud of our boys. They played with heart, skill and resilience, gaining valuable lessons that will continue to shape their journey ahead.

Yesterday, two girls teams represented Vumbi in the Kai Memorial Cup at the Ngong Racecourse. This was a six-aside touch tournament where our girls were in the U13s category and it was a good outing. The girls enjoyed every moment, with lots of lessons learned in relation to touch rugby.

Many thanks once again to Pembroke House School and everyone who made it possible for the girls to travel to and from Nairobi. We are very grateful and the girls are very happy!

Another great Vumbi performance at the Pembroke House Ndume 7s Tournament, with the boys going through to the Trophy Final unbeaten.

It went down to the wire, with scores level at full time, taking it to extra time and sudden death. Kyandondo clinched it with an intercept try - a tough way to lose but we go again!

Saturday was a great day of rugby for Gilgil Vumbi, where both boys and girls from NYS and Ngecho had a fantastic time playing against each other. Special thanks Pembroke House School, Kenya for the continued support. The road to Ndume 7s is looking strong!
