Amazing news from one of our successful grant applicants! ✨💕

Inspire Malawi, have successfully received their Braille Machine, printer, laptop, and speakers.

We are so proud and grateful that we have been able to sponsor these items with the funds from our grant application scheme. These items will be used by the teachers and learners in the SEND classroom. Located in Lizulu.

Another incredible charity we are happy to support, as they continue their inspirational work!🇲🇼

Fantastic news from our friends at Stara Rescue Centre in Kenya!🇰🇪 Stara Peace

Stara received funds from our recent grant application before summer, to help them with a new water purification system. We are proud to say that with our funds, they have been able to purchase one and provide clean drinking water for their staff and students.

Stara is located in the middle of the Kibera slums, beginning with 3 incredible ladies - Josephine Mumo, Farida Kamene and Mariam Abdu. Since 2000, Stara has been able to feed roughly more than 7000 children, educate 54 students to University, and has rescued over 3000 children from abandoned, neglected, early marriages, and unsafe homes.

As well as also being one of Charlotte’s favourite schools to visit, where the video of her telling the children she’d be back to teach them is from. She loved the children, and the joy of the dancing and singing. They will always remain a close and special partner of ours due to this, and we are so proud we have been able to help in Charlottes name🩷

People have a lot to say about how they think they would grieve if it were them.

But until you’ve stood there and realized your child is really gone. you don’t know.

You don’t know if you’d scream or go completely numb. If you’d post every memory you have or disappear from the world. If you’d cry every day or somehow go weeks without being able to cry at all.

There is no graceful way to survive something that was never supposed to happen.

No right timeline. No right amount of sadness. No right way to keep living after burying your child.

We’re all just doing whatever we can to wake up the next morning and somehow keep going.

Happy Birthday to Neil Hope!!🥂✨

We know you don’t like birthdays, but you still deserve a happy birthday shoutout! Like every other day, it’s another day without his “baby girl”, Charlotte who will forever be aged 19.

But today we do want to recognise just how incredibly proud we all are of him.

For more than 20 years, Neil has dedicated his time to the TFTAAB Appeal, helping people and communities around the world and making a difference to so many lives. And since losing Charlotte, he has continued that same work through Lottie’s Way, helping to create opportunities for children and young people in her memory.

The amount of time, effort and love he has given to helping others is incredible, and we know Charlotte would be so proud of everything her Dad continues to do in her name.

So today, we’re thinking of you, Neil. We’re proud of you, we love you, and we know Charlotte would be too🩷

Huge thank you to Anne Greenwood and Tara Cork, who have donated a great deal of wonderful clothes, and football kit for us to take out with us to Kenya !⚽️🌎

These items will be donated to many wonderful places - mainly children’s homes who are in need.

We are always in need of donated items and hugely grateful for them, especially sanitary pads & health essentials, children’s sports kit and shoes! We meet children from newborn ages all the way to adults!
