The tana river sports for peace and harmony association, is a community driven umbrella body aimed at breaking new ground for tana youths aspirations to build a new tana county from the grassroots through sports. the association seek to advocate for peace and harmony in tana river county through sports that the society will be aware and avoid conflicts and misunderstanding in the society and the y
ouths in sports being our main target of our association, it is therefore the wish of the association that through sports we may be able to empower the youth of Tana County by advocating and lobbying for youth-driven economic policies and change, building a culture of youth unity and solidarity through sports, and developing and promoting a new creed of leadership to overcome tribalism, corruption and impunity in a sustainable manner. Youth participation is one of the objectives which will enable youth of Tana-River County to contribute to the promotion of a democratic society open to all ethnic and religious Groups, as an alternative to political violence and misuse of the Kenyan youths.
