This is called parthenium w**d. Fast invasive growing plant severely impacts agriculture and biodiversity. It has spread to nearly Mwea sub county to neighboring regions. It's a threat to Agriculture by causing allergies to animals when they eat it and also taints meat. Mr. Nyaga waziri and your team let's act now or else farmers will be in a fix. As part of enhancing food security status in Mwea Embu county, we have embarked on cassava value chain program with 150 households in two locations ( Riakanau and wachoro) for phasse1. 5 demo sites developed for trainings as farmers expected to adopt and replicate in their farms.
