🦟 What If We Killed All Mosquitoes?

Mosquitoes may look tiny, but they are considered the deadliest animals in the world. They spread dangerous diseases like malaria, dengue, yellow fever, and Zika, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths every year.

But here’s something surprising 👇

Not all mosquitoes are harmful. Out of more than 3,500 mosquito species, only a small number bite humans and spread disease.

Scientists believe that removing the few dangerous species might not seriously harm the environment because other insects could take their place in nature.

However, mosquitoes also serve as food for fish, birds, and other animals, and some even help with pollination.

Instead of wiping them out completely, researchers are now exploring smarter solutions: 🧬 Making mosquitoes unable to spread diseases
🦠 Using bacteria to reduce infections
🛡️ Improving vaccines, treatment, and living conditions

In some countries, these methods have already helped reduce dengue cases significantly.
