SIMPLE ACT.
It's the simple act that counts.

Smiling at a stranger, opening a door, saying thank you.. Can make someone's day.

A simple act on climate change works exactly the same on our planet.

Plant a tree, a flower..
It will be bee's breakfast 🏵️🐝

Speak up. Say something. To someone cutting a tree. Act.
Simple act.

Water a seed.
Do something small.

A seed can become a forest.

Have a simple weekend 💚🌱

It's campaign time again. I did not wish to vie again this year for my CS position.

I have been trying to groom others instead.

But I have been challenged by fellow learners and teachers to vie. Challenge accepted.

If elected, I will make sure all our 4 Campuses comply with CSR.

Some of my friends designed this campaign poster for me... I couldn't resist it😊

We meet at the ballot next week, hopefully for the last time.

💜 NAKURU IS BLEEDING PURPLE: DESTRUCTION IS NOT DEVELOPMENT! 💜

I am appalled to see our iconic jacaranda trees on Oginga Odinga Avenue in Nakuru being chopped down (to expand the road I assume)

Tearing down our canopy is not progress. True Sustainable Development means building our cities with nature, not by flattening it!

These trees are living beings with the right to nature, the right to exist, clean our air and thrive.

Did you know that countries like the UK are already introducing bills to give nature legal rights?

I can promise you this, when the right time comes, I will introduce the Rights of Nature to the Kenyan Parliament so no government can ever sacrifice our ancient trees for concrete again!

Question is will there be anything left to salvage?

True development sustains life, it doesn't destroy it! This is becoming too much!

KAREN ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION

There is this eco queen
Beautiful she is
Just like the rainbow, with so many rays
The best part of her, she is environmental steward.

She have initiate growth of uncountable trees
Build a castle of her legacy in the environment
Always dreaming of making the earth green.

Greenness, is the only language in her tongues
With her, the future is green
She is the strength in nature muscles
With her, mother nature is strong
Fully filled with clean air, land and water.

This eco queen
Is part of the reason why...
The sea adores us with kisses on our skins
Reason why...
Trees relaxes us with the pleasure of the wind
Reason why...
Mother nature she's happy and full of peace.

Love and care, is all what she have for mother nature
So deep into her bone marrow
If we all follow and do what she does
Mother nature will be soo beautiful, fully filled with greenness.
