On Saturday, we joined Solace Cancer Foundation and other stakeholders for a charity walk dedicated to raising awareness, showing solidarity with cancer patients and survivors, and supporting the fight against cancer.
The event promoted cancer awareness, supported those affected, and united communities in championing hope, compassion, and collective action against cancer.

Today, a greener future took root at Kandie Comprehensive School as Edmund Rice Eldoret Empowerment Program conducted a tree planting exercise as part of its commitment to environmental conservation and sustainability.
The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness among learners, foster responsible environmental stewardship, and encourage active participation in protecting the environment for present and future generations.

Every girl deserves the confidence to shape her future not be limited by stereotypes. Girls and young mothers recently took part in a femininity awareness training focused on promoting gender equality, building self-confidence, and challenging harmful cultural norms.
The training addressed self-identity, healthy relationships, informed decision making, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), equipping them with knowledge to navigate societal expectations, uphold positive cultural values, and make informed choices about their lives and futures.

Edmund Rice Eldoret Empowerment Program (EREEP) and its partners marked the International Day of the Girl Child with a call to end child marriage, protect girls’ rights and expand opportunities for education and empowerment, in line with this year’s theme, “End Child Marriages and Invest in Girls’ Rights.”

This saturday, Edmund Rice Eldoret Empowerment Program and other partners and stakeholders, joined the global community in marking the International Day of the Girl Child in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County. The occasion highlighted the importance of protecting girls from violence and discrimination, promoting education, preventing early child marriage, and creating opportunities for girls to thrive. This year’s global theme calls on us to end child marriage and invest in girls’ rights. Every girl deserves a safe, equal and empowered future.
