As First-Track Mentors, we believe that empowering a woman is not just about changing her life—it is about strengthening an entire family and transforming a community.
For many widows, the loss of a spouse can come with overwhelming responsibilities, financial challenges, and uncertainty about the future. Yet behind every widow is a woman with strength, potential, dreams, and the ability to rebuild.
Through mentorship, skills development, entrepreneurship, agriculture, and economic empowerment, we walk alongside women to help them regain confidence, create sustainable livelihoods, support their children, and become leaders in their communities.
We don't want women to remain recipients of support. We want them to become empowered women who can support themselves, their families, and others.
Because when a woman rises, a family rises. When families rise, communities thrive.Empower a woman. Strengthen a family. Transform a community.
We met with our group of Widows in Kurgung Ward! Mosop Sub County, Nandi County.
