THE PARADOX OF LIFE

Ezekiel 13:19b
"…You have killed those who should not have died and have spared those who should not live."

Beloved, one of the greatest tragedies in life is when our spiritual discernment is lost. We begin to embrace what God rejects and reject what God has chosen. We pour our strength into what weakens us and neglect what God has sent to bless us.

Many have wounded faithful friends while celebrating deceitful companions. Many have rejected godly counsel but welcomed flattering voices. This is the deception the prophet Ezekiel confronted—when falsehood was exalted above truth and the righteous were discouraged while the wicked were strengthened.

Ask yourself today: Who or what am I keeping alive that God is calling me to surrender? What have I allowed to die that God wants me to restore? It may be your prayer life, your first love for Christ, your devotion to God's Word, your family altar, or your commitment to holiness.

The Holy Spirit is calling the Church back to spiritual discernment. Do not allow the enemy to convince you to abandon your God-given purpose while pursuing empty things. Let the Word of God shape your decisions, not emotions, opinions, or the applause of people.

Today, choose life. Choose truth. Choose righteousness. Honor those whom God honors, and separate yourself from whatever pulls you away from His presence.

Prayer

Father, open the eyes of my understanding. Remove every veil of deception and fill me with the spirit of wisdom and discernment. Restore everything in my life that should live, and help me put away everything that opposes Your will. Let my heart love what You love and reject what You reject. I declare that I will walk in truth, fulfill my divine assignment, and finish my race with joy. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

GOD BLESS

No One Is Indispensable but God

Beloved, one of the greatest enemies of our walk with God is pride. Pride whispers, "They cannot make it without me." But humility reminds us that God is the One who sustains every person, every ministry, and every generation.

When Satan, once a powerful angel, rebelled against God, heaven did not collapse. God's throne remained unshaken. His kingdom continued, and His perfect will was accomplished. This reminds us that no matter how gifted, influential, or anointed we may be, God alone is indispensable.

The Lord calls us to serve with humility, not with the desire to be seen or praised. Every gift we have is by His grace. Every opportunity to serve is a privilege, not an entitlement. The moment we think the work depends on us, we have forgotten that it is Christ who builds His Church.

Today, choose humility. Honor others. Serve faithfully. Give God all the glory, knowing that if He uses you, it is because of His mercy and love. Remain teachable, remain grateful, and remain surrendered.

"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." (James 4:6)

Prayer: Heavenly Father, deliver us from every form of pride. Help us to remember that You alone are sovereign and worthy of all glory. Keep our hearts humble, our motives pure, and our lives fully surrendered to Your will. May we serve You faithfully, not seeking our own honor, but exalting the name of Jesus Christ in all we do. Amen.
