Abortion laws are different around the world, but one fact remains: a legal right to a safe abortion means little if people can’t access it. In Poland, for example, abortion pills are legal but nearly impossible to get. That’s why activists like Justyna Wydrzyńska volunteer to help. She was taken to court simply for helping someone get legal abortion pills. Her experience shows how essential grassroots activism is in making sure people can access abortion when they need it.

Grassroots feminist movements like women empowerment groups are doing the essential work of making abortion accessible, but we need funding to keep growing, helping more people gain access, and making sure societies and governments take action.

As fronteers and champions of Women Empowerment and rights, the recent Women's Day highlighted the enormous efforts of Feminist and Women's Rights movements and organizations globally, and despite all these efforts, Women and Girls still face huge risks, and our organization is calling for more investment and steady actions that are directed towards zero violence, Zero femicide and creation of a more conducive environments for better spaces for women and girls we want to echo the efforts of these organizations as we move forward

The close of the 16 days of activism against GBV has projected the million challenges that victims as well as activists go through. This is a pointer that there's urgent need for intensified mobilization of resources for the coming years. Our organization is determined to engage and work with key stakeholders and ensure more impact in the coming year 2025.
