To assess, monitor, and share information on national and county level healthcare access and quality gaps, and strengthen the capacity of civil society and communities for the financing, prevention, preparedness, and rapid assessment and response to infectious disease threats and healthcare management
AAHRED works on water projects such as borehole drilling, solar-powered water systems, digging of shallow wells, and building water dams, allowing the above communities access to clean water sources at all times and especially during droughts. Additionally, the organization gives the communities reliable access to clean water through gravity systems, water system rehabilitation, and the protection of intakes from natural springs. We lead community-based management of water facilities, household and community sanitation, hygiene lessons, and efficient and sustainable water use for economic development. To scale up interventions, AAHRED works in partnership with community-owned water projects in the mentioned geographical areas.
