Muturi represented us today in receiving laptop donations from INSO Kenya and afterwards we met & sat to reflect on his journey.

From starting a business after our entrepreneurship training, to studying civil engineering, working in construction, and now employing someone through his business… this conversation is such a powerful reminder of what can happen when young people are supported beyond school.

So many lessons in this one. Watch till the end ❤️

This Labour Day, we celebrate the hands building, creating, and reimagining what Kenya can become.

At Good Kenyan Foundation, it starts with access: skills, mentorship, and real pathways to work.

Made by students at Regina Yego Girls center.

This is part of learning how to turn a simple idea into something functional and valuable.

Through hands-on practice, students work with materials, design and detail, building skills they can apply beyond the classroom.

From learning → to making → to real-world use.

She did everything right.
And it still almost wasn’t enough.

Zipporah got an A-, earned her university placement and still faced the kind of barrier no grade can fix. She kept showing up and when support met her determination, everything shifted.

Now she’s training in tech while pursuing her dream in healthcare, building toward a future where she can do both and do it well.

Access changes everything.

Some of the most powerful shifts don’t start with resources, they start with perspective. When young people are supported to think differently, they begin to move differently and everything else follows.

Learning how to set goals is one thing, learning how they shape your choices is another. This session at Regina Ego Girl Center under the Msingi program pushed us to think about real-life decisions and the skills behind them.

From first strokes to final looks 🎨

At Regina Yego Girls Center we built confidence, skill and a little bit of magic in the mirror.

A 16-step journey guided by Fix Up by Freya where every face became a canvas and every participant walked away with something more than a technique.

08/04/2026

Round two with Freya at the Regina Yego Girls Center! 💄✨ Goodies, a 16-step makeup tutorial, and a beauty skills challenge made it a day full of fun, learning, and empowerment. Can you guess what the prize is? 👀 Stay tuned!
