we successfully held our Agriculture Field Day hosted by Kibisi Farmer Field School, bringing together over 13 schools for a day filled with learning, innovation, and practical farming experiences.
Students had the opportunity to interact with modern farming technologies, including a demonstration of a drone used for crop spraying, showcasing how technology is transforming agriculture and making farming more efficient for farmers.

The learners were also trained on the importance of utilizing small available spaces to grow crops, proving that farming can be done even with limited land through smart and modern farming methods. They explored different techniques that promote food security, environmental conservation, and sustainable agriculture practices.

As part of encouraging tree planting and environmental care, the students also received tree seedlings to take back and plant within their schools and communities.
The field day was an inspiring and impactful experience that empowered young people with practical agricultural knowledge and skills for the future.

The field was full of energy, curiosity, and excitement as students from over 13 schools gathered at Kibisi Farmer Field School for our Agriculture Field Day. From the moment they arrived, the learners moved from one demonstration to another, eager to see, touch, ask questions, and discover how agriculture is changing lives.

One of the highlights of the day was watching a drone fly across the demonstration farm, showing students how modern technology can now help farmers spray crops faster, save time, and improve farming practices. For many of the learners, it was their very first time seeing such innovation being used in agriculture, and the excitement on their faces said it all.

The conversations throughout the day reminded us that farming is no longer just about large pieces of land. Students learned how even the smallest spaces at home or school can be transformed into productive gardens using modern farming methods. They explored practical ways of growing crops, conserving space, and making agriculture more sustainable for the future.

Beyond learning, the day also planted seeds of responsibility and hope. Each school received tree seedlings, giving students an opportunity to carry the lessons beyond the field day and into their communities.

The Agriculture Field Day was more than just an event it was a space where young minds were inspired, where innovation met agriculture, and where the next generation of farmers, environmental champions, and changemakers began to see new possibilities. There’s a quiet strength that grows when young mothers are given space to learn, share, and be heard.

This week, we sat together with a group of teenage mothers each carrying her own story, her own struggles, and her own hopes for her child. At first, the room was filled with silence and shy glances. But slowly, as conversations began, something powerful unfolded.

They spoke about sleepless nights, the fear of not being “good enough,” and the weight of raising a child while still growing up themselves. But they also spoke about love the kind that wakes them up every morning determined to try again.

Through our training on positive parenting, we are walking this journey with them. Together, we are learning how patience shapes a child’s confidence, how communication builds trust, and how small acts of care create a safe and nurturing environment.

There were moments of laughter as they practiced new parenting skills, moments of reflection as they shared their experiences, and moments of courage as they encouraged one another.
This is more than a training. It is a safe space. A support system. A reminder that they are not alone.

And as they left, you could see it the shift. A little more confidence. A little more hope. A little more belief in themselves as mothers.
Because when we empower a young mother, we don’t just change her story we change the future of her child.

Do you remember the Bungoma outreach by Team Kersia?

Months ago, we stood at Kibisi Primary School and were met with classrooms in dire condition worn-out floors, leaking roofs, cracked walls. It was a space that needed more than repair; it needed hope.

Step by step, that hope was rebuilt.

From roofing to flooring, from walls to a fresh coat of paint, transformation began to take shape. What once felt unsafe and unconducive has now become a space where students can learn, grow, and dream with confidence.

Today, we return to the same ground but this time, with joy to officially launch these classrooms for use. A new chapter begins for the students of Kibisi Primary.

We are deeply grateful to The Gravity Group for being a key part of this transformation. Their support has not only restored structures but has also restored dignity and opportunity. Including the other donors who participated, we are truly grateful for each and every contribution that made this possible.

Beyond the classrooms, the donation of sports items has brought excitement and motivation to the students reminding them that learning goes beyond the walls of a classroom.

This is more than a renovation. It is impact. It is partnership. It is a step towards a brighter future.

Today was a powerful and insightful day as we engaged with our pig farmers in a training focused on pig management and housing.

We were honored to be joined by the County Livestock Officer from Tongareni, as well as Wyno Zwanenburg, who facilitated an engaging and practical session.
The training equipped farmers with valuable knowledge on proper housing structures, hygiene, feeding, and overall care key factors that directly impact productivity and profitability.

What made the session even more impactful was the interactive question and answer segment, where farmers openly shared their experiences, challenges, and ideas. It was a great moment of learning from one another and strengthening our farming community.

At Core Health and Wealth International, we believe that empowering farmers with the right knowledge is a step towards sustainable livelihoods and community transformation.
We look forward to more sessions like this as we continue walking this journey together.
