With courage, commitment and a heart ready to serve, our incoming President accepted the responsibility of leading the Rotaract Club of Eldoret into a new Rotary year.

This moment was more than a ceremony. It was a promise to uphold our values, unite our members and continue creating meaningful change in our communities.

The reins are now in new hands. Here is to bold leadership and impactful service!

A day of nourishment, care and hope. 💚 Through the Nourish Huruma Project, more than 30 mothers and children received nutrition support, health education and encouragement.

🌿 *NOURISH HURUMA PROJECT UPDATE* 🌿

Last Thursday, we successfully held the *Nourish Huruma Project* at Huruma Sub-County Hospital, where we supported more than 30 mothers and their children.

Our incredible partners came through and helped make the day meaningful:

🏥 LifeCare Hospital lead by , together with nutritionists from Huruma Sub-County Hospital, provided nutrition education and demonstrated how to prepare and use the supplements. LifeCare also conducted a mini medical camp, taking the mothers’ vital signs and providing prescriptions where necessary.

🧠 Mindcare Foundation lead by facilitated an important maternal mental health session, creating a safe space for the mothers to learn, share and receive support.

🤝 The Rotary Club of Eldoret joined us and offered valuable support throughout the project.

Each mother received Nutridense rice and beans and CSB porridge flour, enough to support her family for at least one week.

We sincerely appreciate everyone who attended, partnered with us, volunteered or contributed in any way. Your support made this project possible and brought hope and practical assistance to vulnerable mothers and children in Huruma.

Thank you for helping us nourish lives and strengthen families. 💚

Tomorrow, Thursday 9th, we finally make the Nourish Huruma Project happen.

From 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, we will be engaging with severely malnourished children and their mothers in Huruma through nutrition education, maternal mental health support, and the distribution of nutritional supplements.

If you get time, come and get a chance to show love, restore hope, and remind a mother and child that they are not alone.

Come ready to serve. Come ready to make a difference.
