ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT: THE LATE VEN. JOSPHAT BETT

The ACK St. Matthew’s Cathedral, Eldoret, conveys its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and the entire Christian fraternity following the passing of the late Ven. Josphat Bett.

Until his demise, Ven. Bett, who hailed from Tindiret, faithfully served as the Archdeacon of Chepkorio Archdeaconry in the ACK Diocese of Eldoret. He was a devoted servant of God whose ministry was marked by humility, diligence, and a deep commitment to shepherding the faithful.

Appreciation for the Harambee

Today, the Cathedral was honored to host the clergy and Christian faithful for a fundraiser aimed at supporting the funeral arrangements. We extend our sincere gratitude to all who attended and contributed.

Funeral Schedule

We invite you to join us in the final send-off for this gallant soldier of Christ:

Burial Service: Friday, 17th April 2026.

We pray for the peaceful repose of his soul and ask the Almighty God to grant strength and solace to the family and the entire Diocese.
