Yesterday marked a significant milestone for the Uasin Gishu Civil Society Network, as we held our Annual General Meeting, themed "Amplifying Civil Society Voices for Partnership and Sustainable Development."
It was an inspiring gathering focused on enhancing good governance and fostering sustainable community initiatives.
We recognized the critical role that civil society plays in advocating for social justice and creating impactful partnerships that drive development.
We were honored to have Dr. Seline Korir, founder of Rural Women Peace Link, deliver a powerful keynote address. Her insights on empowering communities, especially women, serve as a beacon for our efforts in promoting peace and development. Chairperson Mr. David Busienei, National Chairperson of the FLOCCA Steering Committee, also emphasized the importance of collaboration between civil society and government to ensure that community needs are prioritized and addressed effectively.
The impact of the CSO network is felt across Uasin Gishu, where we are committed to promoting accountability, transparency, and inclusive participation in governance. Together, we are amplifying the voices of our communities, ensuring they are heard, and laying the groundwork for sustainable development.
Here's to continuing this important work and creating a brighter future for all! Gratitude to the whole team We love you all team, gracing the event;
