A representative body comprising students from various tertiary institutions -including universities, colleges, and technical and vocational training institutions- whose primary residence is Uasin Gishu County.

In line with the call by H.E. President William Ruto at the beginning of 2026 for intensified national action against drug and substance abuse, the Uasin Gishu County Students Association (UGSA) will be rolling out an Anti-Drug and Substance Abuse Campaign at Koshin Technical Training Institute in Moiben Constituency later this April.

Drug and substance abuse continues to pose a growing threat to the health, safety and future of young people in our institutions. This campaign seeks to create awareness, foster prevention and empower students with the knowledge and support systems necessary to make informed and responsible life choices.

UGSA therefore invites development partners, government agencies, civil society organizations, private sector actors and individuals to collaborate with us in delivering a high-impact, youth-centered intervention. Partners will have the opportunity to contribute through technical support, facilitation, resource provision, mentorship and visibility during the campaign.
