You may be sitting at home wondering what to do next. Maybe school ended, maybe things have not worked out as planned, or maybe you are simply looking for a chance to build a better future.

There is something powerful about young people hearing from someone who once sat where they sit today.

We were delighted to welcome Esther, a 2015 Hair and Beauty graduate from our Kitui Centre, back to Seed of Hope.

Today, she is a trainer at Jubilee Technical College, and returned to mentor our students on where focus and determination can get them.

Thank you, Esther, for taking the time to pour into our students and for being a wonderful example of what is possible.

As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability, our students take part in tree planting activities to restore the environment and strengthen climate resilience.

When young men choose to challenge harmful comments about girls and actively champion their rights and voices, y𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝗿, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲.

At Seed of Hope, our Sexuql.and Reproductive Health Rights and mentorship sessions are nurturing 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 who speak up for respect, fairness, and dignity for girls.

To all young men everywhere, choose to be allies. Speak up, stand firm, and challenge what is not right. We also celebrate our Seed of Hope young men for their courage to stand up for girls.

The last three days have been spent with 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 during a partnership workshop and visit to our centre.

It was a great time of reflecting on the work, and having honest conversations on how we can continue strengthening the partnership.

The team also visited the Seed of Hope Nairobi Center where they interacted with students and were updated on programme activities.

Thank you to One World Together for the continued partnership, support, and commitment to walking this journey with us.

We appreciate the time shared, the learning, and the conversations on how we can continue improving the work together.

Today we celebrate the power of partnerships and the impact created when organisations come together around a shared purpose.

Thanks to Davis & Shirtliff our Kitui Centre now has solar pumping equipment that provides water for kitchen use, supports our agribusiness farm where vegetables are grown, and gives students access to clean water every day.

Partnerships like these create practical, lasting change and strengthen the environment where young people learn and prepare for their futures.

"My name is Faith. I graduated from Seed of Hope after completing training in Catering and Hospitality.

Today, I work in the catering department of a hospital, where I am applying and growing the skills I gained during my training.

I now earn my own income, support my family, and take pride in delivering quality meals that serve others."

Stella, a young mother with limited income and opportunities enrolled in the hairdressing and beauty course at Seed of Hope Murang'a. She completed her training in 2025.

Today, Stella is a mobile haidresser, serving clients across Kiharo and the surrounding areas. She earns a steady income, supports her family, and is able to provide for her child.

Her journey is a powerful reminder that with the right skills and support, young people can move from uncertainty to self reliance.

For every young person facing similar struggles, Stella’s story is proof that 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲—𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆.
