TEENAGE PREGNANCY AND FAMILY PLANNING SERVICES;
Teenage pregnancy continues to raise despite the efforts to provide health education. Teenagers become pregnant for a variety of reasons.
1. Not being informed about issues related to reproduction.
2.Not using contraceptives.
3. Non-compliance with the methods of contraceptives.
4. Fear of complications.
5.Deliberate neglect to use contraceptives.
Many a time , some will claim that at the time of their pregnancy, they had no understanding of how conception actually took place.
Sources of s*xual information.....limited s*x education, information about the normal developmental changes that take place in their bodies in relation to s*xuality is inadequate as most of them learn from their peers.
This still remains an issue that needs to be seriously addressed by all midwives and nurses.
They should be encouraged to visit health care clinics and receive information related to available methods suitable for them.
All health care providers ( midwives and nurses) should lead and change their attitude towards s*xually active young girls so as to improve access to reproductive services for them.

Why is menstrual education a core part of every girl
giving pads is one thing - but helping girls understand their bodies is transformational.
, we remind them that:
menstruation is normal it’s nothing to be ashamed of
their bodies are strong, capable, and beautifully designed

When girls understand what’s happening in their bodies, confidence replaces fear. Dignity replaces shame.

This is why education matters! πŸ’› ,

It was a good moment to interact with girls in the village Nyamira kiseko has crossed the border to hear what challenges girls are facing and heard there cry, there is poverty and it's hard to get sanitary pads because the parent Can have 200/- for food and can't buy pads for the girl.I gave out 100 reusable pads to safe and keep them in school and the girls need more sanitary kits. I thank all well wishers and donors for the support they need more and more of this any support I'll appreciate.
