The Dadaab Refugee complex is made up of five camps namely Dagahley, Hagadera, Ifo, Ifo 2 (East and West) and Kambioos hosting a total of about 500,000 refugees. Each camp is under management by a lead agency that provides camp management services to the refugees staying in these specific camps. The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) came into IFO 2 West as lead agency offering health services and cam

p management services from 27th October 2011 by setting up temporary clinics with outreach services. Following the abduction of staff and subsequent pullout of MSF Spain from IFO 2, the UNHCR requested KRCS to extend these services to Ifo 2 East which it did. The Ifo 2 Camp has a total population of about 64,962 Refugees comprising of Somalis, Sudanese, Southern Sundanese, Ethiopians and Rwandese.
