The club’s named after the Ardara 400+ year old Bridge which spans the Silver River at Cadamstown.

Sundays Corcomroe Abbey Hill hike.
Leader: Gerry Kerwin, Guidance by Mary and Jackie from the Ballyvaughan hillwalking club.

On behalf of the Ardara hillwalking club I would like to thank Gerry, Mary and Jackie for creating and leading the hike.

Mary gave us all the history of the Abbey and Jackie on the flowers the Burren is famous for.

The weather was perfect and the pace of the hike was ideal for looking around at the spectacular views and flowers, with safety in mind also.
