Kenya Sunbeam Ministries is a Northern Ireland based charity working in the Teso District of Western Kenya to be a beacon of light in a dark rural part of Africa. Through Ellen Allison, God has moved powerfully in that place and is bringing the hope of His Salvation into the lives of adults and children in the community. de. Not only is she a mother to them, but she has set up a school called Rainbow Academy with over 100 children attending from both Sunbeam Children’s Home and the local community. Ellen is the local Pastor and has established a well attended church and prayer centre. She gives opportunity for education not only through the school, but through Shalom Bible School where local men and women can qualify with a Diploma in Pastoring. Ellen is the local Nurse and has great respect from the people in the area. She is God’s hands and feet in the Teso District and He is doing great things through her service.
