We were honoured to join a Civic Participation and Voter Education session hosted by the Centre for Multiparty Democracy (CMD) Kenya at Hotel Rastopak. As a youth group, this engagement was timely and very empowering. The session deepened our understanding of civic rights, responsibilities, and the important role young people play in strengthening democracy and good governance.
We appreciated the practical discussions on voter education, leadership, accountability, and peaceful participation in the democratic process. It was encouraging to learn how informed and active youth can influence positive change in our communities through constructive engagement, issue-based politics, and respect for democratic values.
We thank Centre For Multiparty Democracy for creating a safe and inclusive space for dialogue, learning, and sharing experiences. Such initiatives inspire young people to take up leadership, participate responsibly in elections, and champion transparency at all levels. We remain committed as youth to being active citizens, promoting unity, and contributing meaningfully to a democratic, informed, and progressive society.
