Boards of Management (BOM) in schools plays a great supportive role and management of resources and creating safe spaces for learning to thrive.

Over the years, majority of the BOM Members lacked the capacity to manage schools and oftenly accused of overstepping their mandate.

For the last three days, our Founder and CEO Mr. Abdulkarim Taraja actively participated in the 3-day intesive capacity building for the BOM Members and Heads Of Institutions (HOIs) from Cheptais and Kopsiro Sub-Counties held at Kimabole Friends Church.
Mr. Taraja also made contributions on the Conflict Analysis Models and conflict transformation in imroving the management of schools.

Through Education Management Institute (KEMI), the government of Kenya is investing in the capacity of school governance in a move of in the Era.

The training was organized by the Kenya Comprehensive Schools Heads Associations (KECSHA) from Cheptais and Kopsiro.

Political accountability has its basis in the electoral process and as citizens, with powers under Article 1 of the Constitution, must play a different game in holding duty bearers accountable.

Today, our CEO Mr. Abdulkarim Taraja participated in the forum at Redo Kenya joining other CSOs in promoting the citizen-led manifesto framework.

The Ministry of Education has released the 2025/2026 School Data Verification Report, unveiling significant inconsistencies in learner enrolment records across public basic education institutions. The nationwide exercise, launched on 1 September 2025, sought to authenticate data captured in the National Education Management Information System (NEMIS), which forms the basis for allocating funds for Free Primary Education, Junior School, Free Day Secondary Education, and Special Needs Education.
