Growing up in Bungoma, we have seen many bright young people with great ideas but limited access to technology and digital skills training. The talent is there, but opportunities to explore and learn about tech are still scarce.

At CACASS, we believe empowering youth with digital skills can open doors to innovation and opportunity. That’s why programmes like the Marsoney Labs Ambassador Programme matter.

If you are a young person passionate about technology and community impact, we encourage you to apply and be part of shaping the future.

• Course: Web Development
• Start: April 2026
• Free to learn. 1,200 KES commitment fee to enroll.
• How the fee works: Pay 1,200 KES to commit. Pay the 1,200 KES graduation fee only when you finish. If you don't complete it, you only lose what you chose to risk.
• Who it's for: Youth in Kenya who want real, practical tech skills

“A bin in every toilet: dignity, hygiene, and respect for women.”
Access to sanitary bins isn’t just a matter of convenience—it’s about dignity, health, and inclusion. When workplaces, schools, and institutions fail to provide them, they send a message that women’s needs are secondary. That’s not only unjust, it’s bad business: it discourages participation, reduces productivity, and undermines trust in the organization.
Call-to-action:
Human dignity: Every woman deserves a clean, safe, and private way to dispose of sanitary products.
Health & hygiene: Without bins, improper disposal can lead to clogged toilets, unsanitary conditions, and health risks.
Inclusivity: Providing bins signals respect and equality, making spaces welcoming for all.

Have you ever heard of reusable pads? They are washable menstrual pads made from soft, absorbent fabric that can be used multiple times instead of being thrown away after one use like disposables. They’re designed to last for several years with proper care, making them an affordable and eco-friendly alternative.

Benefits of Reusable Pads

1. Cost-effective– You invest once and reuse them for 2–5 years, saving money.
2. Eco-friendly – They reduce plastic and waste pollution, unlike disposables that take centuries to decompose.
3. Healthier for the body– Often made from cotton or bamboo fabric, with no added chemicals or fragrances that may cause irritation.
4. Comfortable – Soft and breathable, reducing rashes and discomfort.
5. Variety & Style – Available in different sizes, patterns, and absorbency levels to suit different needs.
6. Discreet & Foldable – Easy to carry in small pouches and less noisy compared to plastic disposables.

Reusable pads come in various sizes to match different flows and uses:

Pantyliners (Mini/XS): For spotting, discharge, or backup with a cup/tampon.
Small/Regular Pads:For light to medium flow days.
Medium Pads: For moderate to heavy flow during the day.
Large/Overnight Pads: Extra-long and absorbent for sleeping or very heavy days.
Maternity/Postpartum Pads: Thick and extra-absorbent, ideal for post-birth bleeding or extremely heavy periods.

In short, reusable pads are a sustainable, comfortable, and healthier option compared to disposables, with different sizes designed to suit every stage of your flow.

AFRIpads is the world’s leading social enterprise manufacturing reusable sanitary pads. Our innovative Menstrual Health and Hygiene solution drives change through product, education and evidence.
