Today was not just another day ,it was a day of purpose, impact, and transformation at Chebirbelek Senior School.Beacon of Hearts was represented by Gertrude Chepkemoi Director.

Through our mentorship program and the launch of Upendo Guidance and Counseling, we created a safe space for honest conversations and growth. From life skills and leadership to menstrual hygiene awareness (Know Your Cycle), and bold discussions on sexual violence affecting both boys and girls—we spoke truth, we educated, and we empowered.

These are the conversations that shape futures.
These are the spaces where confidence is built.
These are the moments that remind every child: you matter, your voice matters, and your future is worth protecting.

Beacon of Hearts remains committed to raising a generation that is informed, confident, and fearless.

Today we had a wonderful representation in Gorgor as we marked International Women’s Day 2026 under the theme “Rights, Justice, and Action for All Women and Girls.”

It was truly an honor for Beacon of Hearts to partner with amazing organizations including the County Government of Bomet, Kenya Red Cross Society, Wezesha Empowerment, Hand in Hand East Africa, Association of Sisters, and our gracious host ADS South Rift.

We were also privileged to have the presence of leaders including the DCC, Hon. Kimutai(Magistrate sotik law courts )Rongena Manaret MCA Hon Cheptoo and the Director of Gender from the National Government.

The day was a big success, filled with powerful conversations, inspiration, unity, and positive energy as we reaffirmed our commitment to advancing the rights and dignity of women and girls in our communities.

Together, we continue to move forward — amplifying voices, creating opportunities, and building a future where every woman and girl thrives.

Today, we stand firm in our belief that every African child deserves dignity, equal opportunity, and a fair chance at life.

At Beacon of Hearts, social justice means:
