INVESTITURE

The Investiture Camp and Ceremony took place from 6/03/2026 and was concluded today 8/03/ 2026. The event was organized to train, evaluate, and officially invest new scouts into the scouting movement while strengthening the discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills of all participants.

The ceremony was graced by Mr. Mitei, the Deputy Principal Administration, and Mr. Ken, the Deputy Principal Academics, who attended on behalf of the Chief Principal. Their presence greatly motivated the scouts and added significance to the occasion.

During the camp, several scouting activities were conducted to equip the scouts with practical skills and knowledge among others were:

1. Scouts were taught about the history and origin of scouting, including its values, traditions, and the importance of the scout law and promise. This session helped the scouts understand the purpose of scouting and the responsibilities that come with being a member of the movement.

2. The scouts participated in drills and marching sessions where they practiced discipline, coordination, and teamwork. These drills prepared them for the formal parade that was conducted during the investiture ceremony.

3.The Mwamba Brass Band played an important role in the ceremony by providing musical accompaniment during the parade and investiture process. Their performance added excitement and professionalism to the event.

4. Scouts were trained in pioneering skills such as knot tying, lashings, and constructing simple structures using ropes and poles. These activities helped develop creativity, teamwork, and practical outdoor skills.

5. Various camp activities were organized to encourage cooperation, leadership, and problem-solving among the scouts. These activities also helped build friendships and strengthen the spirit of scouting.

✓ The highlight of the camp was the Scout Investiture Ceremony, where new members were officially welcomed into the scouting movement. During this ceremony, the scouts took the scout promise and committed themselves to uphold the values and principles of scouting.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the school administration for their continuous support in promoting scouting activities within the institution. Special appreciation goes to Mr. Mitei and Mr. Ken for taking their time to attend and represent the Chief Principal during the ceremony.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Scout Leader and all trainers for organizing and guiding the scouts throughout the camp. Their dedication, mentorship, and commitment made the event successful and meaningful.
