Communities in Mutarakwa Ward are stepping forward to build resilience against climate and disaster risks through the Participatory Assessment of Climate and Disaster Risks (PACDR) training organized by Tenwek Hospital Community Health and Development at Roromwet Oldabach ward, Bomet Central Sub-county.
The engagement brought together elderly men and women, and youth aged 18β35 years to collectively identify climate challenges, assess vulnerabilities, and develop practical community-led solutions.
Through participatory discussions on climate change, disaster preparedness, adaptation, and resilience building, the community is taking bold steps toward a safer, healthier, and more sustainable future.
Together, we are empowering communities to move from vulnerability to resilience. ππ
