Athletic endeavors, both amateur and professional, have a tremendous economic, political and cultural influence on our society. Watching and playing sports provide ways to escape the stress of our daily lives and come together as a community. Hosting sporting events can boost tourism and revenue for a city. Sports in society can even influence our understanding of gender roles and socio-economic issues, and they can help frame city-, state- and national identity.

Today Golden Hands CBO was honoured to have attended The Kitaka Super league cup in Bomani ward Likoni sub county.

As a community Based Organisation.Golden Hands is set to plan and implement research-based prevention programs to address Substance Abuse.

Actions to be taken by Communities include identifying, assessing needs and community readiness and motivating the community to take action.

The community needs to wake up and Join hands with Nacada Kenya and other stake holders in fighting drug abuse.

Last week our Patron miss Sophia Menza accompanied Director Ali Mazrui of Nacada Kenya and attended a football match in kisauni which was organised by Hon Ali Menza Mbogo.These activities help in keeping our youths busy and thus they lack time and energy to engage in crime,drugs and subsantance abuse.
