Midweek reset? Let’s meet on the dance floor.

The Rotary Clubs of Kitengela, Athi River, Stoni Athi, Syokimau, and Athi Kapiti come together for a joint fellowship: *Kizomba Night* , hosted by the Rotary Club of Kitengela.

Led by choreographer & Dance instructor Dan, this is an evening of rhythm, connection, and pure fun across our Rotary family.

No pressure, no perfection, just good music, great company, and a chance to unwind together.

Last Tuesday, the Rotary Club of Kitengela held the INUKA 5.0 Fellowship, marking the 5th session of our New Generations Mentorship Programme this Rotary year.

It was a powerful full-circle moment. Instead of hearing from mentors, we listened to our Rotaractors share how the journey has shaped them.

They spoke about using insights from the sessions in job interviews, applying practical skills in their workplaces, and approaching leadership with a renewed sense of confidence and purpose.

Yet perhaps the most inspiring part of the evening came after the formal session ended. Rotaractors and Rotarians lingered in conversation; still exchanging ideas, still learning from one another.

A reminder that mentorship in Rotary is not confined to a programme; it is a relationship that continues to grow through fellowship.

This is the spirit of New Generations in Rotary- investing in young leaders, walking alongside them, and creating spaces where they can rise.

Boots on. It’s time for our Club Social Hike.

On 25th April, the Rotary Clubs of Kitengela and Athi Kapiti will come together for a morning of outdoor fellowship at the Lukenya Hills. A chance to step away from the routine, enjoy nature, and strengthen the friendships that make Rotary special.

As we celebrate Rotary’s Environmental Month, the day will also feature the launch of the Impala Ridge Arboretum, an initiative led by Rotary Club of Athi Kapiti to support environmental conservation and tree planting in the area.

Not hiking? You can still be part of the impact by sponsoring a kilometre in support of our SAFI WASH Project.

Let’s hike, connect, and celebrate the environment together.

INUKA is back!

Our mentorship program has become a powerful platform for learning, growth, and honest conversations among the next generation within the Rotary family.

Next week we return with INUKA 5.0, bringing together Rotarians and Rotaractors from Kitengela and Athi River for another evening of mentorship, insight, and connection.

This time, we hand the mic to Gen Z as they share their perspectives, experiences, and aspirations for the future.

The message of Easter lives on this Monday; hope, compassion, and service above self. Rotarians continue to turn that message into action in our communities.

The Sunshine Rally is one of the proud traditions of Rotary District 9212 a movement that has grown across Kenya to bring visibility, joy, and inclusion to children living with disabilities. ☀️

Over the years, the sunshine has travelled from Nairobi to Coast to Western to Mt. Kenya, and this year, the journey reached the Eastern Region, for the 44th District Sunshine Rally and the inaugural Sunshine Rally for our region.

We were honoured by the presence and support of district leadership, including District Governor Nominee for District 9216 .patrisio , District Rotaract Representative Peter Marangu, Sunshine Rally Chair Robert Wakaba, and other district officials who joined Rotarians and Rotaractors on the day.

Together, we continue to grow the sunshine across our communities. ☀️
