We recently had the pleasure of hosting a learning and exposure visit at MITI Educational and Training Centre in Kaloleni, Ilumya an event proudly organized by Community Change Advocates (CCA).
It was an inspiring day filled with knowledge sharing, hands-on demonstrations, and meaningful conversations around sustainable agriculture.
Participants explored practical approaches to organic farming, climate-smart solutions, and innovative tree growing practices that can transform livelihoods and strengthen community resilience.
From healthy vegetable beds to discussions on drought-resistant crops and efficient irrigation, the visit highlighted how small, intentional steps can lead to big, lasting impact.
We extend our sincere appreciation to our valued partner,@ Club of El Cajon sunset for their continued support and commitment to community transformation.
Together, we are nurturing not just crops—but skills, opportunities, and a greener future for our communities.

February ended with CCA visiting Ngelani Primary School where we planted fruit trees few months ago as part of our commitment to environmental stewardship and child nutrition.
These trees are more than seedlings in the ground they are seeds of hope.
In the coming years, they will provide shade, nourishment, and a living lesson on climate responsibility for the learners.
We are proud to walk alongside the school community in building a greener, healthier future for our children. When we plant a tree, we plant opportunity.

CCA is honored to have spend World menstrual hygiene day Primary School in Machakos County-Kenya and in partnership with@Machakos County Goverment department of health.
We supported young girls and Boys by donating free sanitary pads and planted trees for a greener enviroment. Menstrual hygiene iniatives and climate action are deeply interconnected in promoting health and sustainable future.
Alongside donating free sanitary pads,planting trees and advocating for WASH,we made sure that everyone regardless of gender was part of the conversation.Suistanable change happens when we all work together.By involving boys in menstrual hygiene discussions,we foster understanding,support and inclusivity.When boys learn about periods,they become allies-promoting dignity and equality.

Today CCA had a chance to engage with passionate educators,policymakers and advocates in Machakos-Kenya.The stakeholders had a round table discusssions on the status of ECDE in Machakos County and come up with recommendations for adoption and advocacy.
The future starts early,let’s keep pushing for better support and stronger policies for our ECD spaces!

Saying no to period poverty,even the underprivileged deserve better .Today CCA in Parnership with Compassion for African Villages is privilleged to have visited Ngelani Primary school for empowering students for a better future through menstrual hygiene talks, distribution of sanitary pads and bathing soaps,planting of fruits tree and other tree species.
Through this iniative we are empowering the next generation to lead healthier,more informed and environmentally conscious.
